Lith Prints

Temporality

2023 - 2025

‍ ‍Many photographers are drawn to abandoned and dilapidated structures when they’re green, and I’m a part of that club. I knew people living in Detroit are understandably sick of this kind of thing. So, I pivoted to shooting in the suburbs, chose not to include locations, and eventually dropped the project all together. Human relationships to time, linear progression, displacement, and mortality were on my mind. The “infectious” process of Lith Printing felt like the right aesthetic, and had a poetic relationship to the subject matter. These few prints I made felt like enough.
